Good morning.

The free music concerts are back on this weekend at Keizer Rapids Park.

The first show in the Keizer Rapids Summer Sounds series is Sunday, July 20, at the park amphitheater. The gates open at 5 p.m. with the show scheduled to start at 7 p.m.

Rhythm and Business, a Salem group, is the headliner. On its website, the group describes itself as a “premier funk and soul band” that “delivers the music of the iconic horn bands such as, Tower of Power, Earth Wind and Fire, and more.”

The series is sponsored by The Rec by Valor, Uptown Music, Willamette Valley Bank, the city of Keizer and the Keizer Chamber of Commerce.
