Teens learn job skills growing produce for people in need
Good morning, Salem.
Teen farmers are spending this summer growing melons, lettuce, eggplant and more for people in need.
Reporter Mirandah Davis-Powell spent time recently with the lively crew at the Marion Polk Food Share's Youth Farm. The 6-acre farm supplies produce boxes for patients at several local health clinics who benefit from more fresh food in their diets.
